I find lots of street photos to be plain boring (along with a few exceptionally good ones).
If you find my pictures boring - please say so. I would appreciate it!

hi,
can you explain which street photos you find boring, maybe give me some examples - I'm just curious. :)

Really an %80-90 of everything, what is actually qualifies as street - too much to point out (my personal opinion, of course:)).
But then even once in while there is a real boring picture from good photographers, whom I respect - like this one: [link].
Or this one, which seem to get a lot of "votes" from street people: [link] . Good timing, deserves a giggle - but not much more…
Now, this is one of my favorites: [link] . There are real characters in there! Well executed, artistically. One wants to study it, come back and look again - unlike with most of street photos...

thank you for your answer.

We're all trying for the best and we don't always succeed. But the process of trying to capture the decisive moment is what makes street photography so exciting. :)

Yes, and HCB sure made lots of boring pictures way past his first 10,000 :). Look at the books, like "The People of Moscow". I would not even recognize the man in majority of the pictures…
Good luck on the street, Eleni!:)
